“Three coats, cut in by hand, and you cannot find a single line where the ceiling meets the wall. They were done on the Thursday they promised.”
“Heritage terrace, lead paint, the works. Hale sorted the encapsulation, kept the whole site sheeted and our kids never went near it.”
“Drop sheets everywhere, tools packed away nightly, and they vacuumed before they left each afternoon. Felt like we still lived here.”
“Got the colour wrong on the hallway myself and they re-did it without a word about extra cost. Just took the sample back to the shop with me.”
What we paint
Walls, ceilings, doors, skirting and architraves. Filled, sanded, sealed and two finish coats — never one coat over the top of the old colour.
Scrape, prime, caulk, paint. Sydney sun and salt air are brutal, so we spend the time on prep that makes the coat last.
Terraces, Federation and Californian bungalows. Lead-safe work practices, period-correct colours, and the detail on the lacework done by brush.
Can't pick between four whites? We'll bring sample pots, paint them up on your wall, and look at them in your light at three different times of day.
Four promises
Anyone can roll a wall. What people actually remember about a repaint is whether their house was liveable while it happened and whether the crew finished the week they said they would.
01
Floors, benches and furniture covered before a lid comes off. Every room, every day.
02
Site packed down at knock-off so your house is a house again by dinner.
03
The people who quote are the people on the ladder. No subbies you've never met.
04
A finish date in writing. If weather moves it, you hear it from us the same morning.

Colour
A colour that looks warm in the shop turns grey in a south-facing Sydney living room. So we paint big sample boards in the actual product, hang them on your walls, and leave them there for a few days. Morning light, afternoon light, lamps on at night.

Two-tone living room — Lane Cove
Half-strength white walls, charcoal feature return, ceilings flat white

Verandah & weatherboard — Hunters Hill
Full scrape back, oil-based primer, two coats low-sheen

Hand cut-in — Annandale
Brushed edges throughout, no tape lines to peel later
Step 1
We look at every room with you, note the repairs, and take the colours you're leaning towards.
Step 2
Itemised by room, with the paint brand and finish spelled out. No 'trade paint' mystery tins.
Step 3
The unglamorous half. Fill, sand, caulk, prime. This is where a repaint is won or lost.
Step 4
Coats on, cut in by hand, site cleaned, touch-up pot labelled and left with you.
A three-bedroom interior in Sydney generally lands between a few thousand and the low teens depending on ceiling height, repairs and how many colours. We quote per room so you can see exactly where the money goes and cut scope if you need to.
Premium trade lines from the major Australian brands, and we name the product and sheen level on the quote. If you want a specific brand or a low-VOC range, just say so.
Almost always. We work room by room, seal off what we're in, and hand each space back finished so you're never without a bedroom.
Anything built before 1970 gets treated as lead-risk. We wet-sand, contain the waste and dispose of it properly rather than sanding it into your garden.
Yes, and it's free with a booked job. Colour cards lie under shop lighting — we paint big sample boards and leave them on your walls for a few days before anyone commits.
