How it works
You’ve never built a website. Good — you won’t have to.
Here’s the entire process, in plain English. At no point will you be asked to configure, install, or troubleshoot anything. That’s the job you’re hiring us for.
You see it before you pay anything
Tell us your trade, your suburbs and how you like jobs to come in. That's the whole brief — no technical terms required.
We design your actual homepage: real copy about your business, your colours, your reviews on it. Not a template preview, your page.
It costs nothing and there's no obligation. If you like it, it becomes your site. If you don't, you keep the design and we shake hands.
If you go ahead you get a written, fixed-price proposal: exactly what's included, what it costs, and the date it goes live.
We build and set up everything
Before we create anything, you sign a short authorisation that lets us set up accounts on your behalf, using your email and details.
We then set up every service your site needs — hosting, database, domain, and any others — logged in as you, in your name. Nothing is ever created on our accounts.
Any account with an ongoing cost has your payment method on it from the start, billed directly to you at the provider's normal price. We never mark up hosting or services.
While we build, you see progress at a private preview link and can give feedback along the way.
We hand you the keys
At launch, every login and credential is delivered to you through a secure password manager vault — never over email.
We do a 20–30 minute handover call, recorded so you can rewatch it, walking through where everything lives and how to use it.
You change the passwords, which means from that moment we can't access anything unless you let us back in.
You receive a one-page “what you own and where it lives” document in plain English: every account, what it does, and what it costs.
We're here if it breaks
If something we built stops working the way it should, we fix it free. No per-incident invoices, no monthly fee to be eligible.
Where the line sits, plainly: a fix is something that stopped working — a form that isn't sending, a page that won't load, a booking that didn't come through.
New pages, new features and content rewrites are new work, and we'll quote those like any other job. Fixed price, in writing, same as always.
Because you own everything, you're also never locked to us — if something needs attention you can bring in anyone you like.
The handover, guaranteed
What “handing you the keys” actually means
Ownership isn't a vibe — it's a checklist. Every build ends with all of this, every time:
- A signed authorisation before we create anything on your behalf
- Every account — hosting, domain, database — created with your email and details
- Your payment method on every account with an ongoing cost, from day one
- All credentials delivered through a secure password manager, never email
- A recorded handover call and a plain-English “what you own” document
- You change every password — from then on, access is yours to grant
One honest exception: payment accounts (like Stripe) legally require the business owner’s own identity and bank details, so that account must be created by you. It takes about 15 minutes, and on Job Machine builds we guide you through it step by step.
Sound like the way it should work?
It is. Tell us what you need and we’ll map it to a package and a fixed price.
